I’ve got eight Grandkids: Jordan, Amanda Rose, Josh, Weston, Ceci, Anika, Masen, and Gauge.

I love to be with them and I get story ideas from them. You can too!

Amanda Rose is 5 years old, and she has a baby brother, Josh, who is 3.
He adores his big sister and Amanda Rose is learning how much fun Josh can be.
At first she was VERY jealous of her baby brother. Brother-sister stories are fun to write.

Weston is 3 years old and lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He loves to go on trips to the aquarium, to the zoo, to the dinosaur museum and to see the iguanas and flamingoes in Mazatlan, Mexico. Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved animals. When I was growing up, the only pets my family had were goldfish (which usually died and got buried in the backyard). When I grew up and had my own family, my five children were allowed to have LOTS of pets, including gerbils, a rat, a cat, and a dog who slept on top of his doghouse like Snoopy. My son Michael also had a pet tarantula and two pet snakes, one of which escaped and hid in my sewing machine! Now all my kids are grown up. Since I like to travel, my only pets, once more, are fish! But I still love animals, so I put them in all my stories. If you look at my Pockets stories over the years, you will find dogs and cats, ferrets and iguanas, and even a llama named Rama!
